I was looking forward to trying this place after seeing the reviews, but I guess the Saturday before mother's day was the wrong time to go. It was crowded and I don't think they were ready. I ordered my go to meal for any brunch, which is Chicken and Waffles because I don't eat eggs. That's when the chaos began. We had a member in our 3 party group order an appetizer and had to check on it twice after 30 minutes. Once the food came, the order wasn't correct for 2 of the 3. It took so long to get the right one and by that time we were done. The upside was my waffle because it was made to perfection and sweet enough to not need syrup. The huge downfall was the chicken. I got three wings which seem to be cooked in old oil because the color was dark and pieces of the batter were too hard to eat, while other parts just crumbled off. That's not what fresh chicken does. I gave up and just got what I didn't finish to go. It also had no flavor nor was it seadoned. I ordered a glass of juice, but what I got was 3 Oz for $7.00, which was totally ridiculous. I didn't mind paying $7, but not when I get $.50 worth of juice. I probably won't go back because we came pretty far to eat here and it was a total miss for me. The servers were nice and pleasant, but possibly new.

Great food. Amazing concept for a restaurant. The service was superb and the price was reasonable.

This restaurant is beyond gorgeous. As soon as you walk in you are transported to a southern garden party, complete with birds and flowers all around. The decor is beyond anything I’ve seen in a restaurant before.Beyond that, the food is incredible. I have dined here twice and haven’t yet tasted a dish I didn’t like. The service is wonderful and the staff will do everything in their power to make each person’s experience perfect.

We went for Mother's Day brunch today. This is a beautiful place with stunning decor. Unfortunately that's about all it can boast.We were the 3rd of 3 sets of guests to be seated when we first walked in. Two hostesses who could not seem to figure out the system on the tablet for seating or where to put us in an almost completely empty restaurant.Next, the menu. Pre-planned and not family-friendly at all. Had we known it would be pre-planned, we would have booked elsewhere. Our daughter was so excited to bring me here, because she helped pick it out. She was ready to cry because of the options, or lack thereof. Our waitress (your only saving grace), seemed to sense this and offered Ala carte for her. After ordering from the options, we waited. And waited. We found out the waffle maker was not working so it would be chicken and pancake instead. Fine. Then the alcoholic mimosa on the menu was not available due to liquor laws. Okay, fine. Finally, the Oatmeal on the menu was not made, so we didn't get that either. The amount of time between each course was likely poor planning from the kitchen. The ala carte item my daughter ordered did not come out until our main course did, which is tough on a child, so she ended up eating some of the food we were brought just to not be hungry. We saw 2 large tables be seated and offered ala carte for their kids, get up and leave. The tables surrounding us were complaining. The ONLY two reasons we didn't escalate is because-our server was incredibly sweet and attentive even without food to bring out. Each time she had to tell us a certain item from the menu wasn't available she looked like she wanted to cry. This was not her fault, and apologies from her were not necessary;- and, the food was okay.I guess the third is because after over 2 hours, I was just ready to leave.
